As part of its ongoing modernization effort, Ash Grove Cement Company, the largest US-owned cement producer, is expanding the capacity of its Foreman facility by replacing the three existing wet kilns with a new start-of-the-art line.
Newberry, Florida
To meet growing market demand, specifications began in 2005 for a second production line at a cement manufacturing facility in Newberry. Completed in 1999, the plant was operating at capacity and a new line based on the original Polysius Corp. processing technology would double production to 4,800 short tons per day (stpd).
Nobsa, Boyaca, Colombia
A cement company is proceeding with the installation of a new slag and pozzolana grinding facility at their existing plant in Nobsa, Colombia. The project was approved in March, 2008 with start-up scheduled for December 2009.
