Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide supervision and oversight of the process design engineering group for the completion of industrial capital project drawings and calculations. Responsibilities include working within the team providing assistance/oversight of field data gathering, code and drawing research, development of the design basis, engineering integration of new designs into existing designs and support of construction activities. The process design manager will conduct interviews and hire highly qualified engineers, supervise work progress, conduct performance evaluations and recommend engineers for salary changes. The process manager is also responsible for assignment of engineers to manufacturing sites and other client facilities to support projects.
Desired Skills & Experience:
A fundamental requirement of this position is excellent communication which enables expedited completion of design activities, cohesive team relations and a satisfied client. Candidates must be self propelled and initiate/follow/find reasonable methods to complete project activities within established budgets and schedules and meet our company requirement for high quality deliverables. At least fifteen (15) years of industrial process work experience is required including substantial experience in generating traditional engineering deliverables. This position is located in the Saint Louis office.
