BIS Frucon Engineering is seeking a Senior Pipe Designer at our Jacksonville office in Florida. This position is responsible for performing the detailed design of piping system, plumbing, pumps, flow diagram and P&ID’s. The skills of utilize the AutoCAD to produce Isometric sketch, pipe layout and detailed pipe design drawings are must for our industrial clients. The Sr. Pipe Designer position requires strong field experiences to identify the type and function of the existing pipes, and verify the pipe tie-ins. Ideal candidates should require little supervision, and demonstrate initiative.
Preferred Design Experience:
- Consulting Engineering experience for the Pulp/Paper or Chemical Industry
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of pipe designs.
- Experience with Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s)
- Experience with Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s)
- Experience with pump design.
- Experience with AutoCAD operation (Prefer AutoCAD 3D skill)
Requirements:
- Vocational Education is preferred.
- 10+ years experience in Pulp/Paper or Chemical engineering
